The game below is now part of history and was enjoyed by all participants. New games will begin in the summer of 2001. Please participate and see how well you can play them.
Some interest in eye sign was expressed in the Racing Pigeon Discussion Forum. It appears that some of our colleagues like David Rodgers can successfully pick the best birds out of a basket
and may therefore be gifted with a special talent. My question and the question of many skeptics is whether David and others use only the bird's eye sign to judge its value for racing or breeding or
whether other cues may be used. To eliminate any other possible cues, only pictures of the birds' eyes are supplied and it is my hope that many eye sign enthusiasts will try their hand at the following game:
Below you will find thumbnails of a number of eyes:
22 of these eyes inserted at random come from the birds of my friend Frank Cesario, the fancier to beat on race day for the past 20 years! (please note that we only fly 10 old bird races per year due to climatic conditions)
